Sundi’s Gift is a 501(c) nonprofit charitable organization. Above is a pie chart detailing how our money has been spent in 2020. We run off of your donations and greatly appreciate your support.
Goals
We seek to minimize operational expenses and invest a minimum of 80% of donations directly towards the projects in which we endeavor.
School Development
We are exploring online real-time classes as well as the use of purchased curricula that would be suitable for classroom teaching and monitoring by college students, who would receive credit for the oversight and teaching of these classes. This gives the children a chance to receive a superior education not available to them in the slums.
Well Construction
Water well costs usually run $100+ per meter, so a 100 meter well would cost $10,000. Electric pumps for wells that deep can run up to $10,000. We estimate that cost of digging the well on our property to be between $20,000-$25,000.
Pond Development
Each pond costs (hand digging 5×10 meters by 1 meter deep) about $1,000-$1,500. It takes 10 men 10 days to dig each pond. With fish, pond liner, digging, and water, each pond will cost around $2,500-$3,000, leaving room for unforeseen cost overruns.
